Sarajevo Meeting of Cultures is a non-governmental, non-profit organization founded in 2012 with an aim to promote Sarajevo and Bosnia and Herzegovina as a center of different cultures. The main goal is to improve the tourist offer by bringing closer the cultural and tourism sectors in order to generate new offers in the arena of cultural tourism in the city of Sarajevo and the entire Bosnia and Herzegovina. “Sarajevo Meeting of Cultures” is also the name of the project that promotes the city of Sarajevo and Bosnia and Herzegovina as a place where tolerance, peace and coexistence. This location brings together the historical and cultural aspects of Sarajevo, and is located nearby the Gazi Husrev-Bey Bezystan, or the big courtyard. At that precise location, the organization Sarajevo Meeting of Cultures, in cooperation with numerous partners, sets up a sign in the form of a ground stamp which has become the city’s recognizable symbol. In order to achieve multiplicative effects of tourism in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo Meeting of Cultures continuously works towards the strengthening of and development of creative cultural tourism products.
